I collaborated with Albert Hickes and the Bloomberg team on this illustration for an article about the enthusiastic and sometimes overwhelming experience of summer internships. The image shows a worker in an office cubicle, surrounded by floating heads of eager interns, all intently taking notes and observing. I wanted to show the fresh energy and enthusiasm that interns bring to the workplace, whilst also acknowledging the humour in early stage career enthusiasm.
